Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse Confirm They’re Still On With PDA-Filled Walk After 2 Years of Dating

The new Batman, Robert Pattinson, remains very much taken, the actor confirmed this week. Pattinson was photographed walking in London’s Notting Hill on Tuesday with Suki Waterhouse, who linked arms with him. The two were first linked in July 2018 and have kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight.

A source spoke to E! about the rare sighting, telling the outlet, “They weren’t recognized by anyone and they seemed to be in their own little world as they took a long stroll around the village chatting intently, pointing at properties and laughing together before they arrived at the club. They held hands the whole time or were linking arms and looked very happy.”

Pattinson and Waterhouse haven’t commented explicitly about their romance in any interviews. In Pattinson’s June 2020 cover story with GQ, the outlet noted that Pattinson had been quarantining in London with “his girlfriend” because he had been filming Batman when the pandemic began. The outlet did not explicitly name Waterhouse as the girlfriend.

In January this year, Waterhouse briefly sparked engagement rumors when she was photographed wearing a ring on her left ring finger during a Dior dinner party. Neither she nor Pattinson ever confirmed them, and no source connected to them did either.

Last April, Pattinson did address why he has decided to keep his love life private. He told the Sunday Times that “if you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends up better. I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you’re performing and when you’re not will eventually get washed away and you’ll go completely mad.”
