Dark Star Pictures has been on fire lately having nabbed some incredible films such as Koko-Di Koko-Da, Empathy, Inc., Jumbo, and even King Cohen.
Next up is a wild and crazy animated horror film, Attack of the Demons, written, directed and animated by Eric Power (Path of Blood).
Attack of the Demons, which Meagan wrote “wears its horror influences on its sleeve and then some,” will open in virtual cinemas on October 30th before splattering paper-cut gore across the screen on Digital HD and On Demand November 3rd.
In the film, “For centuries, a demonic cult has been plotting world destruction. When a small Colorado town is overrun by a legion of mutating demons, three non-demon hunter friends must use every skill their minds can fathom to stave off the demon apocalypse.”
Additionally, Dark Star has brought Josh Goldbloom onboard as the company’s Creative Director. He will lead brand partnerships, curate strategic marketing and distribution plans, assist with acquisitions, and increase Dark Star’s consumer presence.
The company most recently acquired North American distribution rights to the mood horror film Climate of the Hunter, which screened this week at the Nightstream Film Festival.
