The entire online entertainment sector has been seeing some remarkable success in the last few years and much of this has come down to the lockdowns enforced. You have the gaming and online casino market at sites listed at UKOCL for example, seeing a strong upward curve of players. This has also been seen within the film industry and this is despite many being unable to cast new movies due to the restrictions enforced. Despite this, there are still some incredible films hitting the market and horror still remain one of the most popular genres. So, with this being the case, here we cover the top three horror movies of 2021.

Wrong Turn
Released in January and starring the likes of Charlotte Vega, Adain Bradley, Emma Dumont, Dylan McTee, Bill Sage, and Matthew Modine. It was the rebooted of the hugely popular ‘Wrong Turn’ film franchise. It is focused around a group of hikers who take a wrong turn and end up hiking into the Appalachian trail. This results in them being under attack by the different mountain community that lives there. It provides some jumpy scenes and it is a horror film worth watching.

A Quiet Place Part II
Released in May, it is another horror movie that is worth watching in 2021. It stars the likes of Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe. The plot itself covers the Abbott family who are continuing their fight against the noise sensitive aliens. They also have to venture further than the safety of their farm and is another that provides some tense moments. The first part had some incredible reviews, and this follows suit. A great horror movie to watch.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
The final horror movie to make the list is another release from the incredible Conjuring franchise. The movie was only released earlier this month and stars the likes of Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard. It is the third release from the franchise, and it focuses on a murder suspect, who becomes the first person who is claiming demonic possession in their defence in court. As with all releases from the Conjuring it is one that keeps viewers gripped and with some scary and jumpy scenes throughout. It is certainly another horror movie to add to the list in 2021.
