Artist Recreates Updated Regina From ‘Dino Crisis’ in Unreal 5

Yeah, we know it sucks that for whatever reason, Capcom still hasn’t budged (as far as we know) on revisiting the Dino Crisis series. With games like Deathground and Instinction on the way, at least fans have spiritual successors to look forward to. But what if Capcom did decide to given Regina and company a new life? One artist has decided to whip up something that could give us a glimpse into what it would look like.

Character Designer Mike Wilson (no relation) has posted his take on a modern Regina on his ArtStation, using Epic’s shiny new Unreal Engine 5. Wilson updated Regina to look stylistically as close to Leon, Claire, Jill and Carlos from Capcom’s remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, while also maintaining semblance of Regina’s look from the original Dino Crisis.

The result looks appropriately amazing. Wilson even rigged and animated Regina for a cool turnaround, which you can see below.

Meanwhile, Instinction and Deathground are expected to be released later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series.

Thanks to DSOGaming for spotting this one.
