Kenny Chesney’s Former Songwriting Retreat Is Up for Auction

A massive Nashville estate that has ties to Kenny Chesney is coming up for auction, with the bidding beginning at $3.5 million.

Nashville’s Tennessean newspaper reports that Chesney previously owned a cabin on the property, which is located in the high-dollar Brentwood area of Music City. He used the cabin as a songwriting retreat, and later sold that house and the land it was on in 2018.

The news owners built the 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom, 10,450-square-foot mansion that’s now headed to auction along with Chesney’s former songwriting retreat. The current owners used the cabin as a guest house, according to a statement from Stacy Virk, the Vice President of Interluxe Auctions, the company handling the auction.

The highlights of the stunning residence include:

  • High ceilings, Venetian plaster walls and floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room.
  • An owner’s suite with two walk-in closets, a dressing room and a “spa-like” bathroom.
  • A chef’s kitchen with all high-end appliances.
  • A home theater.
