Lainey Wilson Duets With Jelly Roll During High-Throttle Thanksgiving Halftime Show

“Couldn’t be more thankful to be a part of such a special tradition,” the country star said

Lainey Wilson brought the cowboy boots and country flare to the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving. On Thursday night, the country star performed a medley of hits as she was joined by Jelly Roll for a rendition of their collab, “Save Me.”

Dressed in bedazzled white bell bottoms and a matching cowboy hat, Wilson opened her set with “Heart Like a Truck.” Next, she was joined by the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, who performed fiery choreography for “Straight Up Sideways,” as Wilson declared, “I’m coming home to you, baby!”

The singer then brought out her acoustic guitar and slowed things down for “4x4xU,” before performing with Jelly Roll. Wearing his signature outfit (a backward cap and a bomber jacket), Jelly and Wilson played “Save Me.”

“The incredible Lainey Wilson!” exclaimed Jelly as he walked offstage. Wilson concluded her set with a rendition of “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

“Couldn’t be more thankful to be a part of such a special tradition,” Wilson wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to the Salvation Army for having me perform at the Red Kettle Kickoff during the Dallas Cowboys halftime show.”

About performing with her “brother” Jelly Roll, she wrote: “Love sharing the stage with you.”

Wilson follows a long list of big-name halftime performers at Dallas’ annual Thanksgiving games. Dolly Parton took the stage in 2023, the Jonas Brothers in 2022, and Luke Combs in 2021.

Elsewhere in the league, Shaboozey headlined his own halftime show at the Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears game, while violinist Lindsey Stirling took the stage at the Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins game.
