Rough Cut Fan Club Releases ‘Mulholland Drive’ Shirt Benefiting David Lynch Foundation

Rough Cut Fan Club designed a shirt for David Lynch‘s Mulholland Drive to benefit Dream Center, a Los Angeles charity helping provide essential relief to those affected by the wildfires.

In light of the filmmaker’s passing yesterday, the company has also decided to make a donation to David Lynch Foundation.

“We knew when we heard about the fires ravaging the LA area we needed to do a charity drop, and this film was an obvious choice. Then, the day before we dropped, the great David Lynch left this mortal coil,” Rough Cut explains.

“We are not interested in profiting off the death of any director, but because this is a shirt for charity we think the design is still appropriate. The one change is that all proceeds from this shirt will go directly to The David Lynch Foundation, in his memory.

“David Lynch gave us so many incredible gifts in his work and life and we hope this is one small way to honor that.”

The two-color screen print comes on black Comfort Colors tees for $30. Pre-orders close on January 28 and will ship 4-6 weeks later.

Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, and Justin Theroux star in the the 2001 neon-noir mystery that blurs the lines between dreams and reality.
