Watch a Boat Drive Through a Whale in This Insane and Bloody Clip from “The Boys” Season 2

“The Boys” are back in town this September, with Amazon recently announcing that the second season of their ultra-violent superhero series is headed to Prime on September 4th.

The first three episodes will be available September 4, followed by new episodes weekly.

As part of the show’s “Comic Con at Home” panel today, a *crazy* new clip from season two was shown off, featuring a whole bunch of sharks and one big ass whale. The scene highlights a fight sequence between “The Boys” and Chace Crawford‘s The Deep, the “King of the Seas.” He may be in control of the sea, but that’s nothing the gang can’t get around.

A little ingenuity sometimes goes a bloody long way. Emphasis on bloody…

We’ve also learned that “The Boys” has already been renewed for a third season!

Now streaming through Amazon Prime, “The Boys” (based on the best-selling comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson) puts a bold, fresh and bloody new spin on the superhero genre, centered on a group of vigilantes who set out to take down corrupt superheroes.

“The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.”

The series hails from a team including Eric KripkeSeth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
