Maroon 5 released a new song and music video on Thursday night called ‘Nobody’s Love’, which asks for an end to the war on Marijuana. While the lyrics of Nobody’s Love aren’t overtly tied to marijuana by any means, the minimalist music video shows Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine singing the tune outside at night, while smoking a joint. The video concludes with a message from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) at the end, bluntly calling for an end to the war on Marijuana.
“Nobody’s Love” is the followup to the teary “Memories,” the lead single from their forthcoming seventh studio album. “Memories” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made history atop Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs radio airplay radio chart.
