Created by Mary Laws and based on Nathan Ballingrud’s short story collection “North American Lake Monsters,“ Hulu‘s anthology series “Monsterland” is premiering on October 2.
Along with the date announcement, Hulu has also shared a gallery of first-look images from “Monsterland,” along with a tagline: “There’s a thin line between monster and man.”

“Encounters with mermaids, fallen angels and other strange beasts drive broken people to desperate acts in an attempt to repair their lives, ultimately showing there is a thin line between man and monster.”
The cast includes Kelly Marie Tran (The Last Jedi), Jonathan Tucker (“Hannibal”), Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart), Taylor Schilling (The Prodigy) and Mike Colter (“Evil”).
