‘Attack of the Demons’ Trailer Blends “South Park” and ‘Evil Dead’ into a Halloweentime Splatterfest! [Video]

Dark Star Pictures has been on fire lately having nabbed some incredible films such as Koko-Di Koko-Da, Empathy, Inc., Jumbo, and even King Cohen.

Next up is a wild and crazy animated horror film, Attack of the Demons, written, directed and animated by Eric Power (Path of Blood).

Attack of the Demons, which Meagan wrote “wears its horror influences on its sleeve and then some,” will open in virtual cinemas on October 30th before splattering paper-cut gore across the screen on Digital HD and On Demand November 3rd.

“Power manages to throw every possible manner of gore, viscera, bile, and blood on screen, creating delightful body horror and carnage,” adds Navarro. “It’s pure chaos.”

In the film that’s perfectly timed for Halloween, “For centuries, a demonic cult has been plotting world destruction. When a small Colorado town is overrun by a legion of mutating demons, three non-demon hunter friends must use every skill their minds can fathom to stave off the demon apocalypse.
