Horror films have become one of the most sourced after genres to watch in the film industry these days as consumers can’t get enough of the intense watching and jumping sequences. Because of this, we scaled the Netflix inventory and looked to find the best horror movies on Netflix to watch at the end of 2020.

Netflix has become big business in 2020 mainly due to the fact that we have all been affected by the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 and therefore many of us have been forced indoors looking for entertainment and Netflix has been the perfect provider of this with them showing an increase in subscribers. Other industries that have benefitted from this lockdown have been these no verification casinos like these as they have also been able to offer entertainment from the home due to anyone being able to log on and play from the comfort of their own homes – something certainly worth checking out.

One of our favourites that we have recently watched on Netflix is The Evil Dead which was actually first released in 1981 and created a montage of further sequels, TV series and books due to its success in the 80s. The Evil Dead is a film in which a couple friends; Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell and others take $100k in cash to the woods to play some game and see what continues. This action packed and certainly thrilling film might have been on a low budget, but this was the catalyst in many of the sub-sector genre of horror films.

More recently and released in 2019 was that of the Girl On The Third Floor and cleverly written and directed by Travis Stevens where the lead character, actually played by former WWE star CM Punk, remodels one of his own homes in the city of Chicago but goes on to find terrible discoveries and things start to take a turn for the worst. This film not only have fantastic cinematic effects, but also dawns on 80’s horror and creates a must watch horror film.

Clowns have always been a character in which horror directors love to play on the creepy and eerie role-play of this certain type, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space, released in 1988 has recently come onto Netflix and shows you how to use clowns in the perfect scary manor. Another low budget 80’s film which started off a craze of clown films is a story in which aliens that are similarly like clown invade earth to kill all people – what more do you want from a horror film?
