Sideshow Announces ‘The Last of Us’ Figures For Those Waiting on the HBO Series [Images]

Excited for HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us? If the castings of Joel and Ellie aren’t enough to get you excited, then how about Sideshow Collectibles and Mamegyorai sweeten things with new figurines?

Shipping between March and May 2021 and setting you back $350 USD, the figures are 1:9 scale, and stand 7.5″ and 8.5″ tall. Both figures come on their respective bases, which can be connected to create a full scene. While neither figure has interchangeable parts, artist Masato Ohata has crammed several references and items from the game into the set.

And in case you’re wondering, Sideshow still has available the Dark Horse Comics figure of Ellie from The Last of Us Part II, which comes at a much easier-to-swallow price point of $49 USD.

Kantemir Balagov (Beanpole) will be directing the pilot episode of the series, which will star Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Pedro Pascal as Joel. Game director/writer Neil Druckmann will co-write and produce with Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”).
