Lydia Ainsworth Announces New Album, Unveils New Song ‘Parade’

Toronto art-pop singer, composer, and producer Lydia Ainsworth has announced a new album called Sparkles & DebrisThe follow-up to 2019’s Phantom Forest is out May 21 via Zombie Cat Records. Ainsworth has also shared the album’s lead single, ‘Parade’, alongside an accompanying music video. Check it out below and scroll down for the album’s cover artwork and tracklist.

“Longing seems to be a major theme running through my songs on this album,” Ainsworth explained in a statment. “Whether that is longing in love, longing to be free from oppression, or longing for the muse of inspiration to make an appearance. I have included some spells and charms in there as well that have proven effective, if any of my listeners want to use them for help with their own desires.”

Last year, Ainsworth shared the album single ‘Forever’ as well as a cover of Chic’s ‘Good Times’.
