Webcam Watcher Spots Nessie? – Coast to Coast AM

By Tim Binnall

An American Loch Ness webcam viewer has been credited with recording the fifth potential monster sighting of 2021 after she caught sight of a strange shape emerging from the waters of the legendary location. Kalynn Wangle spotted the oddity back on March 17th as she was watching the popular livestream that broadcasts from the famed Scottish site. Submitting her report to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register, she wrote “a very large dark shape appears to be swimming from left to right at the very front of the shore. It seems to be making a wave for a bit, and either surfaces for a second or is just under the surface.” Wangle goes on to write that, after two seconds, “it goes behind the tree on the right, and doesn’t pop back up.”

In addition to her own observation, the remote witness was able to capture the moment (which can be seen above) as confirmation of the incident and subsequently posted it to her YouTube channel. Her account and the accompanying video were solid enough that Gary Campbell, who runs the Nessie registry, deemed it the fifth official sighting of the year. Much like her webcam-watching counterpart in Ireland, Eoin O’Faodhagain, this is not Wangle’s first successful glimpse of something strange at Loch Ness as she had two reports accepted last year and is actually credited with the first sighting of 2021 as well.
