Blue Underground Bringing George Romero and Dario Argento’s ‘Two Evil Eyes’ to 4K Ultra HD!

Another 4K Ultra HD release is on the way from Blue Underground, the company responsible for bringing films like Maniac and Lucio Fulci’s Zombie to 4K. Next up, the company’s ninth 4K UHD release will be Two Evil Eyes, Blue Underground has announced today!

Released in 1990, Two Evil Eyes was a collaboration between co-directors Dario Argento and George A. Romero, made up of two tales based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. “A greedy wife kills her husband, but not completely. A sleazy reporter adopts a strange black cat.”

Two Evil Eyes will be released on August 24, boasting a restoration “in true 4K Ultra High Definition with Dolby Vision HDR and a new Dolby Atmos audio mix.”
