NECA Has Colorized Frankenstein’s Monster for Father’s Day!

At long last, we’re getting top-shelf Universal Monsters action figures based on several of the original black and white classics.

NECA is giving life to these horror icons, including Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf Man from The Wolf Man (1941), Boris Karloff as the titular figure in The Mummy (1932), and Bela Lugosi as the legendary Count in Dracula (1931).

However, the crown royal is Frankenstein’s monster from the 1931 film Frankenstein. The sculpt captures Boris Karloff’s poignant portrayal of the misunderstood monster in authentic black-and-white, but a colorized version is also on the way first at Walmarts this coming Father’s Day. The company promises that it will be available wide after release.

NECA will also unleash an “Ultimate Kessler Wolf Figure” from An American Werewolf in London this fall.
