Tasha Unveils New Video for ‘Bed Song 1’

Tasha has shared a new video for ‘Bed Song 1’, which appears on her latest album Tell Me What You Miss the Most. The visual was directed, filmed, and edited by Stella Binion. Watch it below.

“Stella and I were partially inspired by Carrie Mae Weems’ ‘Kitchen Table Series’ for some of the imagery in this video, and the intimate way those tableaus tell stories of womanhood, solitude and home space,” Tasha said in a statement. “We chose to shoot in 35mm film both because of Stella’s expertise with the medium, as well as the gentleness and comfort that format emits. Paired with the song, this video follows a story of missing, longing, and self-fulfillment.”

Tell Me What You Miss the Most, the Chicago artist’s sophomore LP, arrived digitally last month and is getting a vinyl release tomorrow (December 3) via Father/Daughter. Next year, Tasha will be opening for Half Waif on her UK/EU tour supporting this year’s Mythopoetics.
