This Platinum Sandal Is The Perfect Outdoor Wedding Shoe

After two years of postponed nuptials and delayed receptions, 2022 is promising a packed wedding season. So, as you start saving those PTO days and banking airline miles for a spring and summer full of destination celebrations, consider investing in a new pair of party shoes that can carry you from an intimate garden ceremony to the most lavish of affairs: Loeffler Randall’s Penny Pleated Bow Heels.

Now, I’ve never seen a bow I didn’t like. I was initially drawn to these sandals purely because of their pretty pleated knot detail, but after wearing them to multiple different events, I began to realize their true potential as a go-to wedding guest shoe.

The thicker heel makes outdoor receptions more manageable as there’s no sinking into the grass, and a padded footbed ups the comfort factor because let’s be real: after months and months of walking around my house in slippers, my feet aren’t quite ready to return to sky-high stilettos.

The Penny style also comes in a number of colorways—including a sweet blush tone and a fun leopard print—but I’m here to make a case for the metallic platinum specifically. Not quite silver and not quite gold, the shade appears to shift depending on what you’re wearing, so these shoes coordinate with any outfit. And for those who aren’t interested in a 3.5 inch heel, the brand has a number of similar styles in different heights both with and without ankle straps for added support.

Now excuse me while I ponder adding another ever so slightly different pair to my cart.
