David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan Have Been Cast As Superman and Lois Lane For ‘Superman: Legacy’

Deadline has reported that in the forthcoming ‘Superman: Legacy’ film David Corenswet will star as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane. This comes after a lengthy casting process that saw Nicholas Hoult and Tom Brittney also test for Superman, and Emma Mackey and Phoebe Dynevor try out for Lois Lane.

James Gunn also made the announcement via his twitter account in which he has kept fans up to date with all aspects of the DCU.

“Superman: Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
