The PDA-filled public dates this weekend really do reflect what is happening privately between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as sources made clear to People and Us Weekly. This romance wasn’t what either of them expected, but it’s going brilliantly.
Us spoke to a source about Swift’s feelings, while People spoke with one about Kelce’s. Both addressed how “different” they are from other people they’ve dated.
“Travis is different from anybody Taylor has dated before, and she is falling for him more and more as the days go by,” Us’ source said. “[He] goes out of his way to make Taylor feel special in any way he can.” One example was through flowers, the source revealed: “Taylor couldn’t believe the massive bouquet of flowers Travis sent to her just because.”
“He makes her feel safe and protected, and at the same time, he supports her independence and success,” the source continued. “Things are going really well [for them].”
Swift and Kelce’s inner circles approve, too. “Friends close to Taylor and Travis think they make an amazing power couple, and they couldn’t be happier for them,” the source said.
Swift and Kelce have been prioritizing each other amid their packed schedules as well: “They try to make as much time for each other as they can.”

People’s source made similar points, although from Kelce’s point of view.
“Taylor’s unlike anyone Travis has dated before,” that source began. “It was very unexpected for his friends, but he’s so into her and very, very happy.”
“Some people thought he was just joking around about the bracelet and having a crush on her earlier this summer, but he was serious about it,” the source added, referencing Kelce’s viral comments about trying to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it when she performed at Arrowhead Stadium this summer. “[They’re] having a great time getting to know one another [and] have introduced some of their friends to each other.”
Kelce and Swift have been well received by each other’s pals. “Everyone’s getting along and seeing how much fun they have together,” the source said. “They make a very cute couple.”
