Eating Pizza With Ghosts

History of Connecticut: Home of Paranormal, Pie, and The White Lady of Easton.

Eating a half sausage and half olive pie at Sallys! With a few guests “wink”.
Connecticut, a state rich in history, paranormal, and flavor. One thing we are known for is
New Haven style pizza. Pepes Pie created the clams casino. One bite of this concoction of
bacon, clam, and some of the finest ingredients you will ever find will put you in an
interdimensional state of yum. I always love the fact that we have so many hauntings here and
to top it off, the best pizza you will find. I like Sally`s but everyone has different tastes depending
on who you are and what you like.
Living a bohemian lifestyle has benefited me all these years. I’ve been living
unconventionally since probably 16 years of age. In my later years, I became an artist and put
on gallery art shows in The Big Apple aka New York City. They have some killer pizza there as
well! I even got accepted to show my work in The Chelsea Museum of Art in Manhattan, The
RIVAA Gallery and all over BK.

Gypsy Gypsy! On display in an art show! Some call it “Street Art”.

We had one exhibit at The Octagon Gallery on Roosevelt Island. The building (now apartments)
has a gallery downstairs and it used to be an insane asylum. So yes, I have been around you
may want to say and met some interesting folks on my journey. This Boho lifestyle gave me
more time and energy to concentrate on art and adventures! I have also been all over New
England and The Tri State Area. Tons of history here, especially our Nutmeg Connecticut state!

Ripe in hauntings as well. On that note I’d like to get into a legend we have here in Easton and
Monroe. This legend is of a spirit known as The White Lady.
The White Lady was said to be murdered a long long time ago and no one even knows
her name. She haunts The Union Cemetery of Easton and the stretch of road leading to Monroe
and also Stepney Cemetery. There are also reports from the police department themselves of

the officers running into this spirit. Actual police and Fire Dept Documents! People often report a
woman in a white dress running in the middle of the road and when they hit her, she vanishes
leaving an actual dent on the vehicle.
I’d like to say back in 2005, I went with my friend’s and had a very haunted experience at
The Union Cemetery. Me and a few buddies drove up to Easton. We drove by the cemetery,
parked the car and I got out and snapped a few photos. When I got home to examine the photo,
I saw what looked to be a ball of red light. When I zoomed in, it looked to have eyes and a
mouth.

I’d like to say probably around the year of 2008, My buddy, Peter, and myself were
driving to Easton to see if we could spot the spirit herself. We drove around the perimeter of the
grave yard. In the back there is a swamp. We saw an orb of white light with what looked like a
trail of lights fly across the car. We believe that was our first experience of her.
It’s rumored that if you drive on CT 59, she will appear in the back seat of your car. As a
clairvoyant, I started finding it hard to drive in this area. I often feel her in the back seat. I call it
Clairvoyant Disorientation. Eventually, I would have someone else drive me in this area because
it was too cloudy for my mind to drive. She actually appeared for us more than a few times
driving from Easton to Monroe. Was she demonic? No, I didn’t pick up on that but it’s always an
uncomfortable feeling driving with a spirit in the car at night time and taking a walk into the
cemetery to be accompanied by black shadows that are darker than dark itself that infest the
cemetery in the wee hours is quite the spooky experience. Other than The White lady there are
demonic spirits floating around as well.

Monroe Connecticut borders Easton and if you ask me, the cemetery there is even more
haunted. This haunted gem is called Stepney Cemetery. Resting place of Ed and Lorraine
Warren with whom also had their museum and house up the street a ways. There is an amazing
pizza spot right across from the cemetery called Country Pizza. This was said to be Ed’s favorite
pizza joint. They make a mean Greek style Pizza. Greek style pizza is also a Connecticut
original invented in New London, CT! Now the Greek pizza brings comfort food to a new level.

The spongy dough sapped up and rich in fine olive oil and its borderline pan-like style always
gives me a paranormal experience. It’s no wonder Ed Warren loved it! Country pizza is
interesting. Employees reported seeing the White Lady hovering over the parking lot.
It was Stepney, where we literally had the most organic or should I say ectoplasmic
experiences of the White Lady and plenty of other spirits that lurk the graveyard there. First off,
to note is a very old fashioned church that is said to have done the most exorcisms in The
United States. People often believe that the demons they exercised escaped the human vessel
and went to the cemetery right next door for sanctuary.

I’ll never forget one winter night, cold and wet, we ventured in. There were all sorts of
shadow people watching us. I remember watching them leap over the grave stones there. In
the upper right hand corner, I sensed a portal as when you entered this 20 ft radius the
temperature would drop about 5 degrees instantly. Now keep in mind that haunted places are
hot spots for occult activity and that’s why the portal was created. The team mate I was with was
taking photos. It was an eerie night but also very cold. So, we decided to call it an evening.
When we got home we examined the photos only to see what looked like the white lady in spirit
energy form as in the photo below.

Photo of what we believe is The White Lady. Notice the formation.

Other times, we explored the cemetery and determined that in the woods surrounding the
cemetery were these dark creatures and if you throw sticks in the woods, they also respond and
throw sticks and sometimes actually logs. Interesting enough, it always seemed as if they were
bound to the woods and wouldn’t step foot in the cemetery. I’ve also had plenty of experiences
at The Warren’s grave. I met Lorraine Warren more than a few times while she was alive and
well. I’ve been inside the museum, experienced the Annabelle Doll, and the other artifacts. She
was a pleasant and eccentric lady. When I sat in her kitchen, I noticed she had two roosters in
cages. They were exotic roosters that had blue, purple and violet feathers. She was telling me a
story of how they somehow wound up at the house on separate occasions. Crazy how two
exotic roosters on two separate dates wound up there. As a psychic and eccentric myself, we
always have eccentric experiences. So, I kind of related and didn’t doubt Lorraine. I mean how
do two rare breeds of roosters wind up there on two separate occasions for no reason. When
you live a strange path, strange events happen!
I also remember another time when taking some students to the graveyard to teach
paranormal basics and hands-on training, one of the attendees took a photo and a bunch of
shadow beings were in the background. There was also another bizarre time Hector and myself
witnessed and experienced a massive grave stone that was making this weird vibrating
sensation. It truly didn’t make sense. When I put my hand on top of the stone, it was almost as if
it was moving back and forth. It truly defied physics. I mean think about it, an 800 pound
gravestone simply moving like that! Fascinating stuff for sure.

Classic shadow people. Darker than the darkness around.

I remember a night when I was at The Warren’s Grave and had a flashlight. I never met Ed
but I heard he had a great sense of humor. Well I met him that night. I had my mag light and
when I was trying to speak with Ed the flash light turned off. I said “Ed, can you please turn that
back on?” and nothing happened. As I then walked away, from the grave the flash light turned
on. I then pointed the light at the grave stone and it went off but as I shined it away, it went back
on, over and over again. After that experience, it was time to walk across the street and have
another experience with a Greek spinach and garlic pie at Country Pizza. As a matter of fact, it
is a very popular spot for paranormal explorers alike to walk the cemetery and grab a bite there.
Fast forward to a few years. My team and I were investigating the cemetery. It was a hot
summer evening. It was our psychic, Diane Berti, camera guy, Hector Roque, and myself. We
stayed for a few hours but strangely nothing was happening! I noticed Diane sitting on the
bench by The Warrens’ grave stone. So, I walked up to her. She took out her pendulum and
asked if we would see The White Lady tonight and it responded with a yes. Still nothing was
going on. So, we packed up our gear and left. As we were leaving Monroe and hopped on the
highway, all the sudden, a big white sheet/cloth flew across my car. It was so real, I swerved,
and everyone saw it. Diane even saw the face of The White lady herself. We were shocked! “If I
only had a camera recording on the dashboard”, I was thinking! So we journeyed onto the
highway and on I-95 North and I had the window down and my hand out the window grasping
the roof. It was summer but it was nice enough to have the windows down and I felt a hand slap
my knuckles and we all heard the slap noise. I can tell it was a hand because it felt very distinct
like a human hand would. I was just a little freaked out but more amazed. We all were. When we
got to our destination we looked on the roof of the car and nothing was there.

It’s phenomena, like this, that makes it an adventure here. If you love the paranormal, you
won’t be bored! There’s also tons of old colonial estates, such as Booth in Stratford or Fort

Nathan Hale, which was a jail for The British Soldiers. Connecticut is also home to plenty of
asylums to explore (make sure you get permission).
It’s no wonder there is so much paranormal activity in Connecticut. If you ask me, it’s one
of the most haunted places to visit in the county. It has lots of history, lots of war and is built on
Indigenous grounds all over the place. There is also a larger quantity than most states of quartz
crystal deposits in the ground in the cliffs and mountains. Quartz can harvest energy. Perfect for
spirits to energize and recharge!
So there you have it! Paranormal and Pie! Now get in your car, go to Pepes, and get
yourself a white clam pizza and I promise you, here in CT, if you don’t see a ghost, you will have
a supernatural experience eating some slices!
