A24 has dropped the trailer for Sing Sing, its upcoming drama starring Colman Domingo, who’s currently nominated for Best Actor at the upcoming 96th Academy Awards. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters sometime in July 2024.
“In the film, Divine G, imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group with other incarcerated men,” reads the synopsis. “When a wary outsider joins the group, the men decide to stage their first original comedy, in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an unforgettable ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors.”
