Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Privately Married Last Weekend

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have tied the knot. The couple, who has been together for nearly three years, exchanged vows in a private ceremony last weekend, People reports.

Both Brown and Bongiovi’s parents (including his father Jon Bon Jovi) and their “closest family” were in attendance for the “very low-key, romantic affair,” according to The Sun. They’re reportedly also planning to hold a bigger ceremony in the U.S. later this year.

So far, the newlyweds haven’t publicly addressed their wedding news or shared any photos from the special day just yet.

Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, were first linked in 2021. “We met on Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?” the actress revealed in an interview while promoting Enola Holmes 2. The pair then announced their engagement in April 2023. (Bongiovi actually popped the question to Brown underwater during an early morning dive.)

Brown captioned a photo from their engagement shoot with a quote from Taylor Swift’s “Lover”: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍”

Brown understands concerns about getting married young, but she told Glamour in October that she trusts her sense of timing: “It’s not because I can’t do it in 10 years; of course I can do it in 10 years. But why, when I know that it’s going to work now? Just like Florence [her beauty line] will be there in 10 years. You’ll be able to see my movie in 10 years on TV. And I know that Jake and I will be okay.” She added, “It’s like, why wait? Let’s go for it.”

She also noted that her and Bongiovi’s parents married fairly young too. “We were modeled wonderful, loving relationships.”

Brown added that she didn’t intend to be a wife, but that all changed after she met her now-husband. “But after meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either,” she said. “He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.’”
