5SOS front man Luke Hemmings has released his new EP ‘boy’, which contains 7 perfectly crafted songs, written and produced by himself,
Elie Rizk and Sammy Witte. My favorite song on the EP has to be ‘Promises’, an impeccable song that delves into the complexities of love, vulnerability, and the weight of unfulfilled commitments.
On March 7th 2024, in a interview with Forbes, Luke mentioned the song being the last track of his upcoming EP ‘boy’. Around a month later on April 12th, five unique promotional posters with QR codes were hidden in cities around the world, each code unlocked a snippet. The snippet for “Promises” was found in Sydney, Australia.
