‘Cursed in Baja’ – Anchor Bay Picks Up Jeff Daniel Phillips Genre Movie

Fresh off playing Herman Munster in Rob Zombie’s The Munsters, Jeff Daniel Phillips is back with the upcoming Cursed in Baja, which has been picked up for release this week.

Variety reports that Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired Cursed in Baja ahead of the movie’s world premiere at FrightFest Film Festival in London on August 23.

In addition to starring, Jeff Daniel Phillips also wrote and directed the film.

“The film follows Pirelli, an ex-lawman who travels to Mexico to search for the heir to a Los Angeles fortune, while also confronting his own complicated past.”

Barbara Crampton (Suitable Flesh) and Jose Conejo Martin (The Tax Collector) also star.

“We’re thrilled to bring Jeff and his vision into the Anchor Bay family,” Anchor Bay’s Thomas Zambeck says. “’Cursed in Baja’ is an intense journey into madness, destined to take its place among the genre-bending classics that have come to define indie film.”
