Continuing the reveal of Kombatants for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, NetherRealm and WB Games today released the latest gameplay trailer spotlighting Noob Saibot and his moves, along with dropping more story details surrounding his appearance in the expansion.
In Fire God Liu Kang’s New Era, a godly Havik from another timeline stole Bi-Han’s soul to create the perfect henchman in Noob Saibot. As Sub-Zero, Bi-Han was the Lin Kuei’s ruthless Grandmaster who dreamed of making his clan a dominant force in Earthrealm. As Noob Saibot, Bi-Han is dedicated to fomenting anarchy. He will not rest until all forms of authority are eradicated.
Noob Saibot once again puts his teleportation powers to good use to slam down opponents, as well as using ghostly projectiles that can detonate with explosive energy after attaching to foes. His trademark use of shadow-assisted attacks are also back. And as with the previous reveals with Sektor and Cyrax, we get a glimpse of Noob Saibot’s Fatality as well as his Animality. In the latter, greatly contrasting his previous anteater form in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, this time around Noob Saibot morphs into a crocodile (with the help of his shadow) to do some gnawing action.
Animalities will be available as a free content update for all Mortal Kombat 1 owners in conjunction with the release of Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns. The expansion arrives September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and the Nintendo Switch.
