Killing Floor fans will have a Spring treat next year, as Tripwire Interactive announced a March 2025 release window for the upcoming Killing Floor 3. That coincides with a new gameplay trailer that debuted last night at The Game Awards 2024. That’s also in addition to the news that Killing Floor 3 will support full crossplay functionality across PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series, and that Tripwire will team with Plaion to offer physical releases of the game.
Not enough news for you? Starting today, players can sign up for access and information about the game’s upcoming closed beta.
The next instalment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series, Killing Floor 3 takes place in the year 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2. Megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. Players assume the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.
And for you gorehounds, the M.E.A.T. System returns to deliver even more realistic carnage in this third entry. Featuring additional points of dismemberment and persistent blood, the game responds to attacks “with gruesome authenticity.”
And if you haven’t dived into the franchise yet, you’re in luck. Tripwire is slashing prices on the Killing Floor franchise for a limited time to their lowest ever, up to 95% off.
