Return to the Horror of ‘The Backrooms’ With ‘Backrooms Level X’ [Trailer]

More Lovecraftian horror gaming is coming your way, thanks to Indie Incubator, Level Up Games Studio and publisher Troglobytes Games with their atmospheric, 2D psychological horror game, Little Lighthouse of Horror. Set to drive you insane on PC via Steam on January 28th, Little Lighthouse of Horror draws inspiration from the haunting legend of the Flannan Isles, casting you as the role of Lawrence, the unlucky lighthouse keeper chosen to take over after the last caretaker vanished.

In Little Lighthouse of Horror, players must navigate the delicate balance of maintaining the lighthouse light lit, while facing the psychological toll of isolation, as well as traditional survival mechanics, such as hunger and tiredness. You must carefully manage limited supplies like food, oil, and spare parts, using the flag system wisely to call for necessary supplies. Keep your sanity in check as you face each strange occurrence. Your actions (or inaction) can either anchor Lawrence, or let him drift into insanity.

Throughout the game, you must uncover the dark secrets that the lighthouse harbours, with each decision affects your fate, leading to multiple endings. Every choice matters, creating a unique narrative journey with several outcomes based on player decisions, in a short yet highly replayable experience.
