Zendaya Wears Casual Blazer and Jeans on Berkeley Trip

This week, Zendaya made an appearance in Berkeley, California, setting off excitement on the Berkeley Reddit community board due to her proximity to UC Berkeley. In a TikTok posted by @shreyandsri, the star can be seen walking with a group of friends close to the school’s dorms after picking up some frozen yogurt at nearby Yogurt Park.

In the video, Zendaya is passing by her elated fans wearing wide-legged denim pants, a gray shirt, and a blazer jacket in gray. She has her hair up in a bun and is wearing sunglasses and a pair of black boots. The poster wrote in the caption, “pov: you spot Zendaya outside your dorm on a casual Tuesday.”

Zendaya is originally from nearby Oakland, and Yogurt Park co-owner Ryan Piscovich told the San Francisco Chronicle that she “comes in all the time.” Yogurt Park employee Tina Khangtintsang told the publication she ordered a mini chocolate and vanilla cup with rainbow sprinkles, adding, “It was really chill…She was hella casual and nice, seemed like she was just hanging out with friends.”

The star’s fiancée, Tom Holland, was not present at the outing. The couple debuted news of their engagement at the Golden Globes on January 5 when she arrived on the red carpet wearing a gorgeous diamond engagement ring. TMZ confirmed their engagement the next day, reporting that Holland proposed “in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States” before New Year’s, and it was a “very romantic” and “intimate” proposal between the two of them.

A source speaking with Us Weekly soon after shared that the pair had discussed their future for some time before taking this step.

“Tom really wants to have a family, and [he] and Zendaya are on the same page about having kids and wanting to start a family together,” said the source. “Tom is absolutely in love with her… [he] is very focused on building a family and his career…Tom is [a] very old-school English guy in the way that he wants to have a family and have kids relatively young.”

In an interview with Holland that Men’s Health published on January 2, the actor shared his direct POV on marriage and kids. First, the star revealed why he doesn’t walk red carpets with Zendaya during her premieres, explaining, “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

He then discussed having a family someday: “When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” he said. “[It’ll just be] golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
