‘Searching’ Director’s Sarah Paulson-Starring Thriller ‘Run’ Coming to Hulu Instead of Theaters

The new thriller from Searching director Aneesh Chaganty, Lionsgate’s Run had originally been set for theatrical release this past Mother’s Day, but that was before everything changed. Now, like many films before it, Run is headed to at-home streaming instead of theaters.

Deadline reports that the thriller has found a new home at Hulu. The site notes that Run will be released theatrically in some overseas territories, but not here in the United States.

No premiere date at this time. Stay tuned and watch the trailer below.

“American Horror Story” vet Sarah Paulson plays a mother raising her teen daughter (Kiera Allen) in isolation. Chloe’s life begins to unravel as she discovers her mom’s sinister secret.

All the signs are telling Chloe to run away from her mom. The only problem? She can’t.
