Orion Classics Picks Up ‘The Wolf of Snow Hollow’ for October Release in Theaters and At Home

Directed by Jim Cummings, the werewolf film The Wolf of Snow Hollow is headed to theaters and at-home on-demand on October 9 via Orion Classics, Deadline reports.

Cummings (Thunder Road) wrote and directed The Wolf of Snow Hollow and he also stars alongside Riki Lindhome (The Last House on the Left) and the late Robert Forster.

The film centers on “a small-town sheriff (Cummings), who is struggling with a failed marriage, a rebellious daughter, and a lackluster department, who is tasked with solving a series of brutal murders that are occurring on the full moon. As he’s consumed by the hunt for the killer, he struggles to remind himself that there’s no such thing as werewolves.”

“It is an honor and a long-time dream to work with Orion Classics and MGM. I wanted to explore elements of horror and comedy through the idea of a monster infiltrating everyday life and how that teaches us who we are and how to not become one ourselves,” Cummings said.

Jimmy Tatro and Chloe East also star.
