‘God of War: Ragnarok’, ‘Devil May Cry V SE’ and New Gameplay Video For ‘Demon’s Souls’ Remake Unveiled

Sony was obviously busy today with the unveiling of the PlayStation 5 pricing and information, but they also managed to show off more of their lineup (and it wasn’t just Resident Evil Village) ahead of the PS5’s November launch.

For starters, Bethesda and developer Arkane Lyon released a new gameplay trailer for Deathloop dubbed “Two Birds One Stone.” The game, which had seen a delay from its original Holiday 2020 release, is scheduled for Q1 2021 for PlayStation 5 and PC. You can read up more on the gameplay details on the PlayStation Blog.

Next up is a surprise enhanced version of Devil May Cry V Special Edition, which will be headed to both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It will be available digitally for each console’s launch for $39.99, with a physical edition due out at a later date.

Devil May Cry V Special Edition allows players to play as Vergil, adds a Legendary Dark Night Mode, Turbo Mode, and ray tracing to the game. For existing owners on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Vergil will be available as paid DLC at a later date for $4.99.

Oddworld: Soulstorm made an appearance with a brand-new trailer, and will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Developer Oddworld Inhabitants touts Soulstorm as having “a massive cinematic scale, filled with breathtaking visuals” that take full advantage of the PlayStation 5’s power. No exact release date was revealed, however.

For Demon’s Souls fans (of which there are many), From Software dropped a new gameplay video, which surprisingly enough doesn’t feature enough dying. That being said, the game will be available on launch day for the PlayStation 5 on November 12 and November 19. The game will also be coming to PC, although that date hasn’t been revealed as of yet.

Lastly, God of War will be on the PlayStation 5 in the form of God of War: Ragnarok. Sony’s Santa Monica studio released a brief teaser via Twitter, but not much else. It will launch in 2021.
