Upcoming Adventure Horror Game ‘Dryad’ Appears on Steam, With New Details

While Ultranite’s Dryad is still a ways off, the title recently appeared on Steam after initially being on Game Jolt. And with it, new details on the point-and-click game.

Aside from the story involving you investigating the campgrounds where four camp counselors were brutally slain, the Steam page reveals that Dryad will also feature a few folks who have experience working on horror games. For starters, Michella Moss, the voice of Ballora from Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, will be playing the role of the titular Dryad, who hunts protagonist Josh Miller. Furthermore, Dryad will also feature music from Synoxsis, who has composed remixes of songs from Five Nights at Freddy’s, as well as Mega Man.

Lastly, in an odd twist, Dryad will feature full controller support, which you certainly wouldn’t expect in a point-and-click game, but hey.

Dryad will be released for PC on April 22, 2021.
