Throw Up the Horns With Latest Gameplay Trailer For First-Person Shooter ‘Metal: Hellsinger’

Those keen on listening for more metal mayhem with Funcom’s upcoming rhythm-based first-person shooter Metal: Hellsinger are in luck. The publisher, with developer The Outsiders, have released a gameplay music video for the title, featuring the progressive metal track “Poetry of Cinder” sung by James Dorton of Black Crown Initiate. The track was written by the Swedish composer duo Elvira Bjorkman and Nicklas Hjertberg.

In addition to Dorton, Metal: Hellsinger will also feature vocals by metal artists such as Matt Heafy of Trivium, Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquility, Bjorn Strid of Soilwork, and Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy, and more.

In Metal: Hellsinger, you are The Unknown, part human, part demon, and obsessed with vengeance. You must fight through the fiercest domains of Hell, destroy the demon hordes and their leaders to set yourself up for an epic showdown with The Red Judge herself.

Metal: Hellsinger is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2021.
