Foo Fighters Release New Single ‘No Son of Mine’

Foo Fighters have shared a new song called ‘No Son of Mine’. It’s the second single from their upcoming album Medicine at Midnight. Check it out below, along with a handwritten note from the band.

“This is the kind of song that just resides in all of us and if it makes sense at the time, we let it out,” Dave Grohl said in a statement. “Lyrically it’s meant to poke at the hypocrisy of self righteous leaders, people that are guilty of committing the crimes they’re supposedly against…”

Medicine at Midnight, the follow-up to 2017’s Concrete and Gold, is set for release on February 5. It includes the previously released single ‘Shame Shame’, which the band debuted on Saturday Night Live in November. During Hanukkah, Grohl and the album’s producer Greg Kurstin performed a series of covers that included Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’, Peaches’ ‘Fuck the Pain Away’, and The Knack’s ‘Frustrated’.
