Former Members of ‘Little Nightmares’ Dev Team Reveal Untitled Sci-Fi Horror Game

While we’re waiting on Tarsier Studios’ Little Nightmares II later this February, former members of the development team have been cooking up a little horror game on their own. Based in Malmö, Sweden, the new studio known as Section 9 Interactive has put out a few images on their Instagram and Twitter pages of their upcoming project, describing it as a “sci-fi action adventure title for PC and the next-generation consoles.”

Whereas Little Nightmares and its sequel have that Tim Burton aesthetic, Section 9’s unnamed game veers towards something that comes out of Ridley Scott’s Alien with its bleak and desolate surroundings of the alien spaceship. Sadly, there’s no Giger, but the enemies appear to be a mix of mechanical droids and transforming monsters akin to something you’d see in Dead Space or BioShock. Sounds good so far.

No release date or further details have been announced for this project. In the meantime, Little Nightmares II arrives February 21st on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
