Robert Rodriguez’s Superheroes vs. Aliens Movie ‘We Can Be Heroes’ Getting a Sequel at Netflix

Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City, Planet Terror, Machete) returns to the kid-friendly vibes of the Spy Kids movies with Netflix‘s We Can Be Heroes, which just launched globally on Netflix on December 25. And the film has proven to be a hit for the streaming service, as it’s projected that 44 million households will have watched it in its first four weeks.

According to Deadline, that means a sequel is already being developed!

In We Can Be Heroes, written and directed by Rodriguez…

“When alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.”
