‘Dying Light’ and Open-World Survival Game ‘Rust’ Cross Over in Latest Event

Techland are at it again with another crossover event for Dying Light. This time around, they’ve enlisted the services of Facepunch Studios’ open-world survival game, Rust.

Continuing through the week until April 26, the event brings with it a new weapons pack inspired by Rust to Dying Light, along with a new vehicle and armor set. The event also has new community goals, which allow players to obtain blueprints for gold variants of the weapons pack, as well as the ability to build Elemental C4. You’ll also be able to obtain this C4 variant from outposts in the game, but you’ll have to liberate them first.

While the event is currently only on PC, it will be making its way to the console version of Dying Light in mid May to coincide with Rust‘s console release.

Dying Light is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Rust is currently on Steam, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions launching on May 18th.

Meanwhile, Techland’s upcoming Dying Light 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC, with a 2021 release.
