Trailer: ‘This Is Us’ The Emotion Filled Final Season

This thanksgiving NBC debuted the bittersweet trailer for the sixth and final season of the hit drama ‘This Is Us’. The footage is set to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” sung by Kate (Chrissy Metz) while Toby (Chris Sullivan) looks on. The trailer also features a present-day Rebecca (played by Mandy Moore) struggling with her advancing Alzheimer’s. She says, “I’m losing my memory. Sometimes I think about what my very last memory will be before the candle goes out.”

For long-time fans, the trailer and likely season six itself will be a farewell tour for This Is Us, revisiting our favourite parts before we have to say goodbye for good. One powerful scene features a distressed William in a hospital bed while Randall holds his face, looks intently into his eyes and encourages, “Just breathe. Come on now. Breathe with me.”

Created and executive produced by Dan Fogelman, This Is Us comes from 20th Television. This Is Us returns for its final season at 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 4.
