[Trailer] ‘Bloodborne PSX’ Demake Now Available

While we wait for that rumoured Ghostbusters video game from Illfonic, Vaulted Sky Games has a ghostbusting game of their own in the works. Described as a “chaotic multiplayer hide-and-seek game”, Midnight Ghost Hunt recently wrapped up another closed beta this past weekend.

The story for Midnight Ghost Hunt has a group of four Ghost Hunters assigned to clear out a series of cursed locations of the haunted type. Countering them is a group of four players who play as the Ghosts. The Hunters have their ghostbusting equipment at their disposal, while those who play as the Ghosts have the ability to hide inside pieces of furniture to escape being caught. The Ghosts can then go on the offensive with telekinetic bombardment of the Hunters, aka throwing stuff at them.

Making things even more interesting is when the clock strikes midnight, and the Ghosts become supercharged, giving Hunters a limited amount of time to survive their wrath.

As you play, players will be able to select Perks for both the Hunters and Ghosts that will potentially give you the edge in your fight. Ghosts can become untrappable or extend their range of possession, while Hunters can gain the ability for increased speed or a healing aura to help ailing players.

Currently, Midnight Ghost Hunt is in development for PC via Steam, with no release date announced as of yet. To get in on the next beta, head over to the official site to sign up.
