Brad Pitt, Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder Are Bringing ‘Beetlejuice’ Back 2 Life

Confirmed! Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B is bringing Beetlejuice 2 to the big screen finally, Deadline has confirmed. It’s been in the works at Warner Bros for some time. Empire reports that Michael Keaton, who played the title role, will wear the striped suit again, and that Winona Ryder is also returning as Lydia Deetz. However at this stage these reports are unconfirmed. All we know at this stage are both are open to the idea of returning and both are very excited about the prospect of doing a ‘Beetlejuice 2’.

The sequel has been in the works for almost 30 years, originally under the title Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian when Jonathan Gems was brought in to write the script in 1990. If Keaton and Ryder return with Tim Burton on board, this will no doubt be another hit for Warner Bros.
