Michael Neely is a highly accomplished music executive, motivational speaker, author, and multi-online magazine owner. He has a wealth of experience in the music industry as an AnR and music executive. Michael has worked with a diverse range of artists, from BBKing to Bizzybone. 1: Did you come from a musical family?

Michael: No, I did not

2: As a young child did have an interest in music?

Michael: Yes I did I used to hang around the record player in our house listening to old-school music

3: You are a musician, song witter, or both?

Michael: Neither just someone who is passionate about good music.

4: You have worked in many diverse genres in the music industry. If you had to pick one that really speaks to your soul what would it be and why?

Michael: Yes I have world many genres of the music industry from Rock & Roll to Blues and Rap, Country, Pop, and so on. But my favorite is RnB cause it speaks to me and puts me in a calm state of mine

5: What advice do you have for emerging artists wanting to become the next music sensation?

Michael: Here is some advice for aspiring musicians who want to become the next music sensation:

A. Develop your unique sound and identity: Find your voice and experiment with different styles and genres until you find the one that resonates with you. Don’t be afraid to take risks and push boundaries to create a distinct identity.

B. Practice and hone your skills: Dedicate time to perfect your craft, whether it’s singing, playing an instrument, or songwriting. The more skilled you are, the more likely you are to stand out.

C. Network and collaborate: Connect with other musicians, producers, and industry professionals. Attend events and workshops, and be open to collaboration opportunities. Networking can open doors and lead to valuable partnerships.

D. Build an online presence: Use social media platforms, streaming services, and websites to showcase your music and connect with fans. Regularly engage with your audience and share behind-the-scenes content to create a loyal fanbase.

E. Create high-quality content: Invest in professional recording equipment, mixing, and mastering services to produce polished music. High-quality content will help you stand out and attract more listeners.

F. Perform live: Gain exposure by performing at local venues, festivals, and open mic nights. Live performances not only help to build your reputation but also allow you to connect with your audience and test new material.

G. Stay persistent and adapt: The music industry is highly competitive, and you will face challenges along the way. Stay determined, learn from your experiences, and adapt to changing trends to stay relevant and keep growing.

6: When you started your motivational speaking were you nervous? I ask because many people equate speaking in public to a fate worth than death.

Michael: Yes I was in the beginning of this journey but then I love to teach and talk about the things I love

7: What got you started in motivational speaking? And what do you talk about?

Michael: I have to give them a shout cause they all had a part to play when it means to me being a motivational speaker and they are as follow : Jimmy Star & Eileen Shapiro, Rick Roberson, Andrea Ryan, Family, Trey Willis Cheryl Cooley, Cedric Turner, Wise McGriff, Louis Boyd, Record Producer Dough Boy, Cedric Turner, Bizzybone,

8: Being an author must come in handy with owning two online magazines, The Orange Magazine and X10Magazine respectfully. Tell us about the most interesting story you have ever written and why?

Michael: Tom Sizemore cause everyone said he does not do interviews but he did mine and he was a humble and blessed person talk and funny

9: What got you into writing?

Michael: Always want to try new thing  and writing a book was and still is a new thing and I feels like a kid in a candy store

10: You have two online magazines. Why did you decide to own two?

Michael: Yes

Explain the differences between them.

Michael: Ok< I started with xs10magazine as being a global indie magazine for upcoming producers, artists, actors, actresses,

designers, and film directors to help maximize their exposure.  Then came along the orange which is strictly for indie and major artists from around the world to help connect the dots ( Collaboration between artists)  that are missing in the industry.
