‘Cape Fear’ TV Series In The Works From Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg

Deadline reports that Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are executive producing a new television series that will serve as a re-imagining of Cape Fear. The series also comes from Nick Antosca, who serves as an executive producer, showrunner, and creator.

“A storm is coming for a pair of married attorneys when an infamous killer from their past gets released after years in prison,” the official logline reads, per Variety. “A tense, contemporary thriller that examines America’s obsession with true crime in the 21st century.”
