Watch Billie Eilish Perform ‘What Was I Made For?’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ on ‘SNL’

Billie Eilish was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by Kate McKinnon. Greta Gerwig made a surprise appearance to introduce the singer, who was joined by brother and collaborator Finneas on piano for a performance of her Barbie song ‘What Was I Made For?’ as well as a rendition of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’. During her performance of ‘What Was I Made For?’, Eilish re-created a a scene from the movie with childhood home movie clips and personal photos of Eilish and current and former female SNL cast members. She also appeared in a sketch called ‘Tampon’ with Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Paula Pell, McKinnon, and Gerwig and a skit about a cat rescue shelter with McKinnon.

This was Eilish’s third appearance on the comedy sketch show, following her 2019 debut and a double stint as host and musical guest in 2021. ‘What Was I Made For?’ is up for five Grammys, including Record and Song of the Year, and recently picked up a Golden Globe nomination.
