Watch Justin Timberlake Debut New Song ‘Sanctified’ on ‘SNL’

Justin Timberlake was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by his Social Network co-star Dakota Johnson. After making an appearance during Johnson’s opening monologue, which poked fun at Timberlake’s “comeback,” the singer brought out rapper Tobe Nwigwe to debut the new song ‘Sanctified’, which he teased during an ESPN ad earlier in the week. He also performed ‘Selfish’, the lead single from his upcoming album Everything I Thought I Was. Watch it happen below.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Timberlake said: “I flirted with the idea of, should I host or ask to host? And then I just thought, ‘No, this album is really special to me in a different, different way. And, yeah, you read that perfectly, but I also cannot imagine that I won’t get pulled into a sketch or two. It’s only natural. And I’m here for it. That’s always fun. SNL, for me, in any capacity. I’ve hosted five, but I don’t even know how many times I’ve been on the show.”
