When to Watch New Episodes of Eva Longoria’s New Series Land of Women

Eva Longoria returns to the dramedy in Apple TV+’s Land of Women. The series, which she executive produced and stars in, is inspired by La Tierra De Las Mujeres, Sandra Barneda’s bestselling novel.

Created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, and Paula Fernández, this bilingual series follows Longoria’s Gala, a New York socialite. However, things go awry when she discovers that her husband owes millions in debt to the wrong people. Under the guise of a girls trip, Gala whisks her kooky mother and angsty teen daughter away to the town in northern Spain that her mother fled 50 years prior. One hunky winemaker, a tractor accident, and decades of untold secrets later, three generations of women find themselves in quite the predicament. Starring alongside Longoria is Spanish icon Carmen Maura, Santiago Cabrera, and Victoria Bazúa in her television debut.

While discussing the creation of the show, Longoria told Jimmy Fallon that “it’s very much in the tone of Desperate Housewives.” Suffice it to say, the wait is over for all the Desperate Housewives devotees who’ve been longing for Longoria’s TV comeback for the past decade.
