‘Funko Fusion’ Out Now on PC, Consoles [Trailer]

After launching on Steam last month, developer/publisher Mega Cat Studios has announced that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit will be headed to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this month on September 27.

In a press release, Mega Cat Studios marketing director Becca Peters stated that the team is “thrilled” to bring Into the Pit to a wider audience with the console launch. “We’re so grateful for the support of the amazing fans that have been anticipating these releases and are very excited to get it into the hands of the players later this month.”

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit plunges players deeper into the unsettling world of animatronics and dark secrets. Featuring haunting 2D visuals, a gripping new storyline, and nerve-wracking gameplay. The new trailer showcases the game’s atmospheric environments, animatronic characters, and “pulse-pounding moments” that aim to leave fans on the edge of your seat. In particular, it shows an exciting look into new game footage, including a haunting room full of endoskeletons, never-before-seen jumpscares, and a mysterious voice narrating the experience.

Into the Pit revolves around Oswald, who wishes that his town, and his life, weren’t so boring. That all changes when he explores the ball pit in a rundown pizzeria and finds himself in the past. However, as one might expect, Oswald will encounter something that will have him questioning his wish.

Rather than the usual gameplay from a Five Nights at Freddy’s title, Into the Pit instead is a full-on horror adventure. You’ll travel between time periods, gather clues, and obviously outrun the threat relentlessly hounding you. You’ll need to move fast and stay hidden in order to survive. But be careful—it’s not just your own life that’s on the line. Oswald’s father and children from the past could all meet their end if you don’t save them.
