Rihanna put a sporty spin on a gray tweed pantsuit for a night out in Beverly Hills over the weekend. The singer teamed her Vivienne Westwood look with a soccer jersey and a pair of red Fenty x Puma Avanti sneakers.
On Thursday, Rihanna showed more of her style range, opting for a more feminine ensemble to attend a Savage x Fenty event at Nordstrom Century City in Los Angeles. There, she wore a lace camo corset slip dress, with a thong and lace tights from her lingerie line peeking out from underneath, and a Fendi patchwork coat and Saint Laurent mules.
Last December, Rihanna spoke to ELLE about the duality of her style. When asked about her favorite red carpet look of all time, she replied, “There are two different worlds that I created: One was butt-naked with jewels and crystals all over me for the CFDA Awards, and I was like, ‘This is the sexiest moment. Nothing I ever wear will top this.’ Then, right after that, for a performance at the Grammys, I wore a full men’s suit, and I think that encapsulated my entire range of style at the time going from one to the other. It was super authentic to what I was feeling at that time.”
She also touched on what it’s been like raising sons RZA and Riot, after welcoming her youngest in August 2023. “Going from one to two is a major, major difference,” she said. “Balancing two sets of everything. Two different feelings, two different personalities, everything. I think it’s been the most exciting and the most challenging, and I’ve built my world around them and I’m figuring it out and getting better. My friend told me it takes three years, so I’m hopeful.”
