Point-and-Click “Whimsical Horror” Game ‘Riddlewood Manor’ Announced [Trailer]

Developer Peanut Button is venturing into the old-school point-and-click adventure realm with their newly-announced title, Riddlewood Manor. Available to wishlist now on Steam, this “whimsical horror” title combines a rich story, intricate puzzles, and escape room-inspired challenges.

You’re on a mission to exorcise the eponymous mansion, formerly home to William, Margaret, and their daughter, Emily, whose mysterious fate is key to the manor’s dark secrets. Visiting each room, you’ll uncover more of the tragic tale of a family cloaked in mystery by piecing together their story through clues scattered throughout the manor. Be on the lookout for Suzie, Emily’s demonic doll, who is more than keen to appear when you least expect it.

“We are beyond thrilled to unveil Riddlewood Manor to the world,” said Eyal Geva, co-founder of Peanut Button. “Developing this game has been an extraordinary journey, and we can’t wait for players to explore the haunting and enchanting experience we’ve designed. We hope everyone enjoys uncovering the mysteries and puzzles of the manor as much as we enjoyed creating them.”

Being an adventure game, you can expect plenty of puzzles to complete. From crafting a breakfast with unappetizing pig parts to assembling a séance board with hidden clues, each puzzle you uncover brings you closer to the tragic story of the Riddlewoods.
